About Sarah

For as long as I can remember, I have always had a passion for creating art and building with my hands. High school was where I got my first taste of real jewelry making and I was hooked! After graduating from JMU with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1994, I traveled and studied with various artists and designers across the US and even Florence, Italy. I then attended and graduated from the Gemological Institute of America in Carlsbad, CA. in 2002, earning a Graduate Diamonds Degree, Graduate Colored Stones Degree, Accredited Jewelry Professional Degree and a Graduate Gemologist Degree.

Sarah Goode Designs was created in 2005. I began fabricating a line of fine metal jewelry with unique gemstones. Attractive and easily wearable, my sterling silver jewelry is unique, simple and modern. All pieces have been hand cut, filed, sanded, polished and set by me. Most items are made to order or are one-of-a-kind.

I believe jewelry expresses our sense of fun and it sometimes tells a story. You can dress it up or dress it down, sterling silver is always alluring, elegant, and timeless.
